Ana is one of four daughters in a family of six children. The two sons of the family were unable to continue their educations becasue of the economic plight of the family. The father is a day laborer who earns very little money and the mother must attend to the home and the children. Ana helps with the younger children as well. Ana is the only one of the family who wishes to complete her education and the dream of the mother and father of this family is to have one child complete his or her education. Our Children’s Project has chosen to help Ana reach this goal. |
