Pedro is the second son in a family with five children. Pedro’s father is an alcoholic. He drinks daily and because of this, does not support the family financially. The mother works hard selling used clothing to support the family. Most of the time while he is away at work, the five children has no one to look after them and must cook and care for them. At times the mother thinks she will not be able to send all of her children to school because of the economic situation of the family. This project supports children like Pedro, who want to learn and go to school for as long as possible. Pedro is now in secondary school and is succeeding. |

Pedro likes to study and wants to have a good job in the future to be able to help his siblings. This spring he will be in the 12th grade of secondary school. |
