Francisco Alexander is the fifth of seven children. His mother does not have a stable job, she does all of the domestic housework, including caring for the children, laundry, cooking and cleaning.  His father is a mason but his salary is not enough to cover the expenses of 6 children. The family believes that the children must work to help support the family and two of the children have already left school to do exactly that. If Francisco does not stay enrolled in school he will not have the opportunity to obtain a good job and change his life.

School Situation
In fact, Francisco already helps his family doing odd jobs, the money that he earns from working goes directly to his family. He does not have much time to play with his friends or siblings. Next year he will attend 9th grade and it will be the last year at the secondary level.
